The A5 is quite a bit tighter than the 4 string models, though I didn't think it was that different from most other 5s. I don't play a great deal of slap bass, but do you think this would impede much?
I had played the A4 once and loved it, But I've heard that the string spacing on the A5 is very close together as compared to other 5 strings (haven't actually found an A5 in stores to test play yet :S ).
